First time going to Mono! I always pass by this area and thought to give it a try today. I got the mango matcha and asked the barista if I should get London Matcha or mango; ended up getting mango for the first time, interesting taste but I would get it again (if you're craving something similar with lemonade with milk, lol) -- But I would probably try a different matcha next time! London Fog has a flowery flavor and is creamy I like this coffee shop because it's quiet and has less people. I like working in quiet, less crowded areas so this was a nice spot :) Workers are super sweet and friendly to talk to, I would go again definitely since I live near :3 Thank you to the two female baristas!! So nice!!

I'm not in Lakewood often, but I was passing through so I decided to stop by after my friend sent me a video on Instagram about their matcha latte. I opted for their honey oat lavender matcha and after seeing the color, I was skeptical. But it was actually super good! The lavender flavor was strong, but I loved it. I think I'd get it with whole milk next time though. Cute spot!

The iced london matcha cloud is where it's at. It's like matcha and coffee had the most epic collaboration ever with the PERFECT hint of earl grey flavor. Every sip was a little cloud of happiness! My only regret? Not asking for less ice--rookie mistake--my drink was 75% ice 25% coffee.

Delicious! The Spanish latte was heavenly. Everything was made fresh to order. Latte had a nice honey cinnamon flavor. Super comforting! The ham and cheese was made hot and delicious as well. Service was quick and the place is a standard cozy coffee shop. Love this place and will definitely come back.

I drive by this place from time to time, when I'm in Lakewood, and decided to stop by this time around. It's a nice little coffee shop with a minimalistic design that suits it just right. It has plenty of seating, great for studying or just to hang out. The staff is friendly and quick to serve, your order will be out in no time at all. I ordered the Biscoff latte, it has Biscoff bits inside along with syrup and espresso. Not over powering with sweetness and provides a nice kick to start off your day. The ham and cheese croissant was very good, I'd get it again.

I came here on a thursday morning since i was nearby in the area and the place was pretty empty. I got the matcha latte which turned out to be $5.95, and it was pretty decent! I liked the drizzle around the cup and the matcha tasted pretty authentic to me. The menu here is pretty extensive and prices are reasonable so I might return to try more drinks in the future.

this place is definitely up there on my list of cafes, especially with how many non-coffee options they have! the cafe is located in a rather small plaza so parking is kind of limited but i didnt have a problem getting a spot when i came with my friend on New Year's Eve around 11am. it's not as bustling as other cafes, which i prefer, plenty of tables available and it's not too loud so you can study or chat with a friend. my friend and i decided to both get a drink and treat, as they offered a variety of sweet and salty pastries to choose from. i decided to get the london matcha cloud, which is exactly what drew me to this place because i LOVEE earl grey drinks and matcha drinks/foam so this drink was a MUST. i asked if i could get a different milk than oat milk because im not a big fan of oat milk, and they told me i couldn't so i thought that was a little strange. i also couldn't adjust the sugar too i think. and i found out why shortly after because i saw the other worker making my drink and straight up just pouring it out of a jug LOLL. i was like oh lol it's pre-made, that makes sense i guess. so fingers crossed it would still tastes good, and honestly it did!! it was the perfect amount of sweetness and the earl grey flavor shined through. the matcha foam on top was also well made despite being pre-made and ready to pour. you could taste the matcha and the foam was the perfect creamy consistency. i would definitely come back for this drink!! i also decided to get a hazelnut espresso pound cake slice, which honestly was not my favorite. i liked the hazelnut topping they put on the cake but i didn't really like the cake itself -- it was a bit on the dry side and a bit grainy. my friend ordered a biscoff latte and a jalapeno cheese bagel with regular cream cheese, and she thought both were really good! the biscoff latte was perfectly sweet without making any adjustments, which was a pleasant surprise. both the coffee and biscoff flavors shined through and complimented each other. if you're a cookie butter lover, this drink is for you! her jalapeno cheese bagel was also pretty hefty and served warm, so it was a good breakfast snack to chat over. overall the drinks here are delicious, the flavors are well balanced, and everything was the perfect amount of sweetness. the cafe is very clean and not as busy as other ones. i will definitely return here to try their matcha drinks! the prices are also super reasonable

I didn't know this place had einspanner, so I guess this means I have to come back. Lol. I ordered the biscoff latte. Sounded amazing, I mean cookie butter melted in espresso w/ honey and cinnamon - yes, please! It wasn't bad, but it wasn't my favorite either. It was just so so. The service was great! It was very clean inside and parking was easy to find.

Our new favorite coffee shop!! Great coffee & yummy pastries~ My partner & I love the taste of coffee on its own & prefer actually tasting the coffee in our drinks versus adding too many syrups & flavors. Mono intentionally makes their drinks a little less sweet to let the coffee flavor shine (according to their yelp description) & we truly appreciate that. We ordered the einspanner - flat white with vanilla bean cream on top & biscoff latte. Both drinks were delicious & perfectly balanced. The vanilla bean cream in the einspanner was smooth & subtly sweet, and the biscoff flavor in the latte was not overwhelming (many other shops make it way too sweet for my liking). It also came with 2 biscoff cookies on top to snack on. Their pastry selection was pretty solid with some vegan donuts, ham & cheese croissants, and various loafs. We tried the hazelnut espresso loaf and it was soo good! Highly recommend giving that a try while you're there too. There are a few tables inside, although we only noticed one outlet, so it seems more like a chill coffee chat spot. The employees were friendly & there was some soft music playing in the background. We hardly get coffee outside of home now but we'll make the trip for Mono :)

Mono Coffee is a local coffee shop specializing in some high quality and innovative drinks. This spot is tucked away in a smaller plaza with a decent amount of parking spots. Inside, they have about 5-6 tables for seating. As for their menu, they have some signature drinks along with different espresso, matcha, and tea drinks. Wifey and I decided to try the London Matcha Cloud (earl grey with oat milk tea with matcha cream) and the Banana Milk Matcha Latte. Both drinks were superb with the right balance. Overall, this spot really stands out with their menu and quality of their drinks. All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. We are definitely looking forward to coming back next time to try different menu items!
